Annie Hermansen-Baez joined the USDA Forest Service, Southern Research Station in 1999. She first coordinated the Southern Wildland-Urban Interface Assessment and currently focuses on expanding technology transfer capacity and delivery of wildland-urban interface information across the Southern region. She also serves as the center's office manager.
